This evening I have benefited from the following experiences……..

  • Monks singing because it was relaxing.
  • Seeing a fire engine because we thought there was a fire.
  • Fire alarm going off because there was a fire in the other garden that went into an open window.
  • The ‘fire’ and mingling with other people because I didn’t know many people here.
  • How to cope in a difficult situation. I.e. the fire, and learning how to react. And seeing the monks in the abbey because we needed to be careful and listen to our instructions.
  • I have been shaken up because of a suspected fire because I don’t like scares on the first night.
  • The fire! The abbey, the dance and listening to such lovely poems and readings.
  • The fire and seeing and listening to the monks because there is always something interesting to come.
  • Learning a fire cannot be your fault. We went to watch monks so it happened to us unexpectedly.
  • Listening to the monks and the fire scare because the monks were very strange and the fire was scary and fun.
  • A fire goes off sometimes when it’s not your fault. We went to watch monks- we had a misleading fire at the building.
  • Listening to the monks sing because it was very interesting.

Tonight I have learned that …….

  • Everyone is different yet we are all one!
  • Listen to fire alarms!
  • We went to watch monks sing in the abbey.
  • About the monks and their lives.
  • The way the monks sing their prayers. Also about dealing in a serious situation.

  • Everybody is different. Fires are not funny.

    • It was interesting.
    • We may all have holidays or births but they are all different and equally special.
